FuelForHire
FuelForHire was a startup begun by myself and two other classmates from Boston University, built to solve the problem we were having of finding good jobs by letting people exchange info about their company.
It was built on CodeIgniter, an MVC framework, which was good for flexibility since there were a lot of revisions to the initial specifications.
I learned a lot from working on FuelForHire. Not just technical stuff like team dynamics, workflow, best practices, remote collaboration... but also business stuff like venture capital, managing contractors, and burn rate. I also gained a lot of respect for just how hard a startup is.
